The Red Tail Garra is a striking and functional freshwater fish with an attractive reddish-orange tail and a sucker-like mouth ideal for grazing on algae. It’s an active bottom-dweller that thrives in oxygen-rich aquariums with moderate to strong flow. A great choice for aquarists looking for an algae controller that also brings colour and movement to the lower levels of the tank.

🤝 Compatibility:

Generally peaceful but can become mildly territorial. Best kept singly or in small groups with plenty of hiding spaces and décor. Suitable for community tanks with similar-sized, peaceful fish.
