The Ramshorn Snail is a popular freshwater invertebrate, named for its tightly coiled shell that resembles a ram's horn. Available in colours like red, brown, blue, and pink, these snails make a great addition to community and planted aquariums, where they help clean algae, uneaten food, and detritus from hard-to-reach spots.

Small, peaceful, and constantly grazing, Ramshorns are ideal members of any cleanup crew. They reproduce easily in freshwater, which makes them excellent for breeding tanks or naturalistic ecosystems. However, in high numbers, they can overpopulate — making them better suited to tanks with stable food input and monitoring.
